Outside the Box – Nicole Kelly

RSI celebrated Spirit Week last week! Students and staff had fun showing off their creativity each day by dressing to the theme. RSI kicked off spirit week with School Spirit Day on Monday! Renny the Tiger (RSI’s School Mascot) stopped by to greet students and staff during drop-off. He brought the energy and dance moves that got kids excited for the week ahead. During the week, students were creative with the ways they wanted to express themselves and dress to the theme. On Tuesday, some students dressed up as their favorite historical figure or their favorite character. Wednesday was Career Day. Students dressed to impress or they dressed for their future careers as firefighters, police officers, businessmen and businesswomen, engineers, and RSI teachers (complete with glasses and walkie-talkies)! “Twin Day” was a favorite. There were twins, triplets, quadruplets, and even quintuplets! The week ended with International Day where our students and staff dressed up in traditional clothes from around the world to celebrate different cultures and traditions.
