Outside the Box – Nicole Kelly
RSI’s L10 classes got outside of the classroom and out into the world on their first field trip of the year! Our L10 students got to explore the Orange County Zoo, learning more about animals and conservation work. Not only was this field trip educational, it was incredibly fun for our young students. They learned about bears, porcupines and different types of birds from owls to eagles, and more in between. A highlight of the day was ending the field trip with a train ride around the park where they spotted more animals like peacocks and turtles.
RSI Middle School and High School students experienced the adventure of the OC Ropes Course for their first field trip. They spent the morning with their peers and teachers working together to overcome challenging obstacles and cheering each other on as they made it to new levels. Students left feeling accomplished and confident when they finished the course!
It was a great first round of field trips for our students. They left with new experiences, smiles, and shared memories.
