Outside the Box – Nicole Kelly
Last year RSI students, staff, and families participated in Dressember and joined a community of advocates to fight for the protection and freedom of millions who have been enslaved around the world. Together, we raised $1000 for the cause. This year we are excited to participate again!
Dressember hosts a style challenge every year where advocates pledge to dress up during the month of December to raise awareness & funds for vital rescue and support for survivors of slavery. There are 40 million people in slavery around the world. 1 in 4 are children. We all have a responsibility to fight back against injustice. A simple way to get involved is through style. We invite all students and teachers to dress nicely by wearing a nice dress or a nice button-down shirt with either a tie or bow tie. Students will bring a dollar for every day they dress up and turn in the money at the drop-off loop. Online students and teachers can participate and donate through Venmo or directly to our online team page.
Two ways to participate:
