Together, we raised a total of $800.25 for the Dressember Foundation!
As a school, we believe that our students will not only become leaders that impact the world, they already are.
One way that they have been empowered to take action was through the Dressember FUNdraising campaign benefiting the Dressember Foundation. It is an awareness and fundraising campaign utilizing a fashion challenge as a creative way to spark conversation. Students were invited to wear a dress, a tie, or a dress shirt to school and to donate a few dollars each day as they participated.
“Dressember resources prevention, advocacy, intervention, and survivor empowerment programs simultaneously. We address root causes and acknowledge changing systems. And we’re committed to mobilizing this community to fuel holistic impact.”
– Dressember
RSI Students got to hear from the Dressember Founder and CEO, Blythe Hill, about their organization and the impact that student participation has. She shared with excellence and heart, and we are incredibly grateful for her time as she invested in the students.
We are so pleased to announce, that we not only met our fundraising goal of $500 but have exceeded it by $300.25. This was all due to the contribution of our incredible community. All of the proceeds raised will go directly to the Dressember Foundation to contribute towards their anti-trafficking work and will bring restored dignity to survivors.
