Outside the Box – Ashley Bleeker

We would like to thank Mayor John Stephens for attending the gala and for supporting Renascence School International! We are truly honored to have a Certificate of Recognition bestowed upon us at the event. This certificate was “In recognition of your commitment to preparing students for the global environment through strong academics, creativity training, leadership opportunities and proficiency in world languages. Thank you for providing children with exceptional education that draws out the brilliance and potential in every student”

As a school we are grateful from the support of those within our school community and within the city surrounding us. RSI was also featured in the Costa Mesa City Snapshot newsletter: “Mayor John Stephens recently attended the annual gala for Renascence School International, which originally opened in Costa Mesa in 2011.

At that time, it was the first of its kind in its style of teaching and the school’s second only campus. Renascence uses the language immersion method to teach academics. Since its opening it has grown from 17 students to about 200 today.

The school offers early education in preschool and kindergarten, elementary through junior high and high school programs and has won several international, national, state, regional and local awards for its curriculum.

The school was originally founded in Panama City, Florida by Juliann Talkington, who opened the school to educate her daughter and prepare her for the global economy. The current school was brought here to Costa Mesa by local residents Carrie and Thomas Mizera, who wanted their son to receive the same type of rigorous education.”
