Outside the Box – Nicole Kelly
Students and teachers dressed up in green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day last week. Students were surprised when they walked into their classrooms to see it left a mess from the leprechaun! Along with a mess, the leprechaun who visited the RSI campus left little goodies and gold coins for the kids. Although he is tricky, he is cheerful. Some students were upset that he left a mess without cleaning up, but they were happy when they found treats and lucky charms that he left behind. There were many green-themed feasts around campus as teachers talked to students about the legend of the leprechaun and his mystical tales. Preschool classes celebrated with green-themed lunches and L3 celebrated with a mix of yummy fruit and veggie creations.
Online and in-person classes had different St. Patrick’s themed activities like counting with clovers and creating leprechauns that make their daily lessons fun and engaging. It was a magical day for everyone!
