The little green thumbs at RSIOC!

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

The Renascence School garden has been a real joy for the students this year!  The C8 and C9 students planted the garden earlier this spring. Since then, they have been planting, watering, weeding and tending the garden each day. The students are now seeing the results of their hard work!

Bunches of broccolini and juicy strawberries are starting to ripen. Herbs, such as basil and mint create an enticing aroma as you near the garden. The younger students enjoy exploring the garden after school. They are learning about how things grow and how bees pollinate. RSI students are enjoying this hands-on learning in the garden!
