Renascence School kids to preform at Irvine Global Village

At 10 am on Saturday, October 1, the Renascence School International, Orange County will be performing Spanish and Chinese songs at the Irvine Global Village. Irvine Global Village is an annual multicultural event in Irvine that attracts more than 10,000 people. It offers a wide array of entertainment, including music and dance representing more than 50 cultures from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. This is a celebration of Irvine’s cultural diversity. Guests enjoy the mosaic of music and dance, immerse themselves in cultural and religious displays, indulge in international cuisine, and shop in the world marketplace. This family focused event tantalizes tots with hands-on art projects, games, puppet shows, and activities in a giant, interactive Kids Village. Orientation with be held on Tuesday, September 6 at 5:00 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit with your child’s teachers, learn about school policies and procedures and tour the campus. If you have not enrolled your child, but want to know more about this unique school that offers advanced academics and three-way language immersion, orientation is the perfect time to see the campus, meet the teachers and learn about the 2011-2012 school. Renascence School International Orange County will hold an open house and grand opening on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 2987 Mesa Verde East, Costa Mesa, CA. The program encourages children as young as three to “think outside of the box” and has seven-year-olds proficient in several languages. It also prepares students to compete on a global level in math, science. language arts and creativity.
