RSIOC students getting some lessons in computer programming

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

The Renascence School International was on winter break, but some of the older students spent the first three days of break participating in a computer programming class. For many of the students, this was their first time taking this type of computer class. The students really enjoyed this learning adventure and got a laugh out of the idea that they had been programming their parents since birth! The Renascence School International Orange County campus has a policy of not using computers as a teaching tool for their students until 4th grade. RSIOC plans on continuing to offer computer classes like this one for their older students.
