RSI moves Spring Break up 2 weeks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19

Outside the Box – Nicole Kelly

Spring Break Starts Monday
Due to current health concerns around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) RSI’s Spring Break will be rescheduled for the next two week (March 16th – March 27th). The campus will be closed for break beginning Monday, March 16th. This means any events that were scheduled to take place before break (e.g. Egg Hunt, L10 Field Trip, ect.) will be cancelled or postponed until further notice.<!–more–>

Please keep an eye out for emails from RSI as we will continue to keep families updated on a regular basis and informed regarding our students’ return to campus and our re-opening procedures. More details can be found in Mrs. Mizera’s “Spring Break now starts March 16” email that was sent on Thursday. As always, RSI’s administrative team is ready to help answer any questions to the best of our ability at this time.

The incubation period is roughly 5 days. Please note symptoms include sore throat and dry cough which can lead to pneumonia, high fever and difficulty breathing. If you have a runny nose and sputum, you have a common cold. Coronavirus pneumonia is a dry cough with no runny nose. Drink plenty of water and seek medical attention if symptoms develop. Thank you for doing your part to help slow the spread of this virus.
