Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

The end of the school year is almost here and it is time to start planning for summer! Would you like your child to be a part of a fun-filled, engaging summer program where he/she can learn Mandarin Chinese and Spanish? If so, you should consider 40 Days Around the Worldschedule • registration form • contact

The Renascence School International summer school offers an award winning curricula that combines learning and fun! This program is open to children from 3 – 8 years of age. There are two sessions: July 9 – August 3 and August 6 – August 31.

In the program, students explore languages and music from different cultures. They play musical instruments, have daily instruction in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish and get plenty of exercise in the outdoor sports camp.  In addition, students expand their minds with Bricks 4 Kidz, a special LEGO program that includes building and junior robotics!  The older students (ages 5-8) develop a love for reading through an adventures in English literature session!

The summer program also offers an academic workshop. Students can participate in both sessions and switch from the regular program to the academic workshop and vice versa.
