Each January, Renascence School International has a staff development day for training. The usual agenda is a half day meeting accompanied by a luncheon off site. As students enjoy their last day of winter break, teachers and staff have an opportunity to reconnect after the holidays and mentally prepare before school begins.
The chosen luncheon venue this year was the Yard House. In the spirit of giving, a white elephant gift exchange after lunch always brings smiles and laughter, and is a great way to end the day together. Read More

RSI celebrates Dia de los Muertos!

Dia de los Muertos—the Day of the Dead, is a lively Mexican holiday that is celebrated all over Latin America. Students at the Renascence School International celebrated on November 1st with special activities in Spanish class. On Dia de los Muertos, the dead become part of the community, having awakened from their eternal sleep to join their loved ones in celebration. The students learned that this is not a time to fear, but a time of remembrance for the generations before us and for those who are no longer with us. Read More

Smiles and sweets, fun and treats at the RSI annual Trunk or Treat!

What a fun time last Thursday at the annual RSI Trunk or Treat and Costume Day! On Halloween, students came to school in costume, some as their favorite characters, some were just silly and others a little scary! There were so many creative and fun costumes this year! A very special Renascence School assembly

At the beginning of October RSI students and staff enjoyed an extra special school assembly. There was a surprise announcement, revealing the gender of elementary Spanish teacher Sra. Sanz’ new baby! This surprise was not only for everyone at the school but for her husband as well! RSI was honored to be a part of this special celebration! October birthdays were celebrated and there was a special appearance by RSI School mascot Renny the Tiger, which definitely got the kids pumped up and the school spirit flowing!
