RSI February Assembly welcomed special guest speaker Dr. Lee. RSI would like to thank him for sharing with us his expertise on hygiene. He wrote a rhyming song for the event that he taught to all of the kids. Also, students showed off the posters that they made for Kindness Week, and C9 performed an original song, “C9’s Back Alright”, written specifically about leadership for the assembly. RSI celebrates Dia de los Muertos!

Dia de los Muertos—the Day of the Dead, is a lively Mexican holiday that is celebrated all over Latin America. Students at the Renascence School International celebrated on November 1st with special activities in Spanish class. On Dia de los Muertos, the dead become part of the community, having awakened from their eternal sleep to join their loved ones in celebration. The students learned that this is not a time to fear, but a time of remembrance for the generations before us and for those who are no longer with us. Read More

Let’s get together! RSI Elementary Leadership Assembly – September

RSI’s first Elementary Leadership Assembly was a success! Students had such a fun time hearing from student council and learning about new opportunities at the school. Staff and students set aside some time to celebrate many current and summer birthdays. Also, some of the RSI club members took the opportunity to introduce their clubs to the school to their friends.  RSI is looking forward to one assembly each month to celebrate each other and the seven habits in our lives!
