Celebrating Thanksgiving in the classroom!

In typical holiday fashion, students were treated to a Thanksgiving family feast and enjoyed plenty of holiday arts and crafts. RSI Summer Camp Session II – Let the fun begin!

RSI Summer Campers are once again on a journey, “A Journey in Time”! Session II has begun! Last week students were learning about the 1950’s and 1960’s and had two days to come to camp dressed up! During art enrichment students enjoyed making dream catchers. Elementary students delved into the civil rights movement, particularly learning about Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. Preschool students explored the Chinese and Spanish culture such as flags and food as well as special holidays such as Dia de los Reyes and Dia de los Muertos. Hear Ye! Hear Ye! RSI Summer Camp – Week 2 – Journey through Medieval Times

The Renascence School International summer campers spent the second week of camp learning about Medieval Times. Campers kicked off the week with stories of Chinese dynasties and Greek gods. Preschool campers created Zeus’ shield, while elementary campers created Chinese terra cotta warriors and illuminated manuscripts in Spanish. In Drama, elementary students had fun acting out their parents’ occupations! On Wednesday students learned all about British royalty and preschool students made treasure boxes. Session I of summer camp ends on July 21st, and Session II begins on July 24th! Read More
