Outside the Box – Christy Johnson & Nicole Kelly
RSI students are cultivating a culture of kindness by participating in the Kindness Challenge. Each day students were challenged to participate in various acts of kindness. Whether it was exchanging a passing smile, high-fiving classmates, or giving their teacher a compliment, students were lighting up the campus with kindness. Students were also challenged to take the acts of kindness to their community, either by picking up trash or donating items to local food pantries.
Students also came up with their own acts of kindness – like being kind to the environment, being a good sport when playing with others, being a good friend, and being kind to their teachers by working diligently in class. Students created unique posters to capture their idea of kindness. Renascence School International is proud of its students for having a spectacular week!
