Costume Day and Trunk-or-Treat at RSI
RSI students ended the month with a week of fun festivities! Preschool students and staff dressed up every day and participated in a Halloween-themed spirit week. It was fun seeing our little pumpkins, ghouls and witches come out to play. The week ended with Costume Day, Trunk-or-Treat, and a K-12 schoolwide assembly on Friday.
RSI Students Participate in the Great ShakeOut
RSI students from preschool through high school participated in the Shake-out last week, along with other schools and businesses across the state. The students did a good job of following directions, remaining calm, and listening to their teachers' instructions.
RSI Students Earn Global Seal of Biliteracy
The advantage of Renascence School International's trilingual immersion program is that students enter full language immersion classes in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and English. RSIOC celebrates multilingualism which expands future opportunities for our students.
Fall After-School Enrichment Program for Students
Students started their fall after-school enrichment program classes last week. In RSI's after-school program, preschool and elementary students have opportunities to join their friends and instructors for fun classes like soccer, chess art, LEGOS and STEM! RSI is also offering specialized after-school enrichment classes like Model UN, Toastmasters and tennis club, dedicated to Middle School and High School students.
Back to School Night
We were thrilled to welcome RSI parents back on campus for RSI's Back to School Night these last two weeks. Parents had a chance to meet their students' teachers in person and connect with grade-level families.
Chinese Moon Festival Celebration
In Chinese language classes, students and teachers celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Moon Festival. Teachers shared the Moon Festival story and moon cakes with their students.
